End of Month Update
We’re moving at speed. More determined than ever, and with great momentum. If you’re with us, you’re still early. A lot is yet to come to the world of Rogues (literally, and figuratively speaking!).
In July, we were very busy, as per usual (does anyone expect anything else?). We’ve worked hard to keep building, delivering and excelling in the world of web3 gaming.
This article covers the key achievements in the past one month, and is not an exhaustive list. Without further ado, here’s what Rogues Studio did in July 2023.

🏆 Release of the Quest Leaderboard in World of Rogues
We kicked off the month of July with a new release: the Quest Leaderboard of Vulpgard.
World of Rogues' shiny leaderboard was designed to showcase the top players with the most completed quests. The top 30 players will be receiving seasonal rewards, with the top 10 getting their name engraved forever on the legendary Vulpgard statue!

🎣 Fishing got unlocked in the World of Rogues
Yes, there was a lot of work in anticipation of the fishing unlock!
After the happy moment of completing the Mayor’s quest to open up the Vulpgard lake for business, the fishing rods were out immediately. Players went rushing to get whatever messages in the bottle they could find…
Spoiler alert: there are messages in the bottle still left!

🪓 Vulpgard Commons got unlocked in the World of Rogues
Yet another important achievement happened less than 2 weeks later.
The gif below shows the map of Vulpgard, and what the quests so far have uncovered… the lane in the top right corner leads to the Vulpgard Commons…
This is the new area for gathering of resources, as the gathering has moved away from Vulpgard (after all, it’s now becoming the city it will always be).

🆓 Sold out 777 Roguepepen NFTs
We did it. For the culture.
In less than 3 days, we had it all done.
We decided to do the Roguepepens on Thursday.
We worked hard to make the designs together with the community on Friday.
We launched a pre-sale on Saturday morning.
We launched a public sale on Saturday evening.
We sold out 777 free mint Roguepepens by Sunday evening, within less than a day from public launch.
This is how we roll. No fuss. Just delivering.

⚙️ Updated NEAR API for Android & iOS
This one is on Morgan. Over the past few weeks, he was working very hard to finalize the NEAR Unity SDK by getting it to support Android and iOS. This was part of a grant work developed for the NEAR Foundation.
We’re now happy to announce that the NEAR API is completed and available for free in an open source license on Morgan’s Github account.

We’ve also had the pleasure to take part in multiple activities as guests of the NEAR Foundation, the organisation behind the NEAR Protocol.
Twitter Space with NEAR | 20 July 2023
This Twitter (pardon me, X) space with NEAR was to cover the completed Unity SDK work by Morgan, and his work on onboarding gamers and game developers to the NEAR ecosystem.

NEAR Horizon Demo | 21 July 2023
At this Demo Day with NEAR Horizon, we presented the game to a selected group of builders and employees at the NEAR Foundation. The event was invitation-only, and there is no recording to be shared, however we really enjoyed presenting the game and received extremely positive feedback.
NEAR Town Hall | 26 July 2023
At the NEAR Town Hall on 26 July, I presented an overview of Rogues Studio and our achievements on the NEAR ecosystem. The presentation serves as a great overview of who we are, what we do, what we’ve achieved, and where we’re going. I’d highly recommend watching the recording of our presentation.

Coming soon | X Space with NEAR
We will soon announce another X space with NEAR’s official X account.
✨ Launched Heroes of the Flow Twitter Account
The official account of our second game, Heroes of the Flow, went live!
You will be seeing a lot of information and super awesome sneek peeks to come, as we reveal many more characters in the game.
We’ve already been listed on the Flowverse platform, as just announced by their team. Flowverse is one of the key marketplaces on Flow, and is our trusted partner in building our activities prior to the launch of the Heroes of the Flow and the upcoming mint on Flow.

And finally, we’re happy to share our new logo design, deployed already on both Twitter (I know!), and Discord.
We’ve been inspired by the diversity of our community, and the fun that we have together, and decided to update the colours to be more fun, quirky and friendly.

While this is a long list of achievements, this is not all. Our list is almost too long to share, as we are making daily progress with our games, community and growth.
