New UX/UI - elevating your gaming experience! 🎨
The World of Rogues is gearing up for a visual and interactive overhaul, delivering a fresh and intuitive User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI).

Every detail, from menus to navigation, will be optimized to immerse you even deeper into the world you love. Some of the major elements we’ve redesigned:

We’ve also recently launched our Lootbox UI, and are releasing the Fishing Tournament Leaderboard next week.

Loading screen
This is the the first screen that players see, so it’s important to make a good first impression. The areas we've worked on:
Updated branding - with latest brand elements
Improved logo
Improved loading bar - to add a feel of the game
Added background image to represent WoR better
Login screen
The login screen is important as anyone would be able to see it (before connecting)
Updated branding & logo - with latest brand elements
Improved buttons and menu items
Added both NEAR & Polygon login options
Updated background image
Added links for further information
Profile (avatar) screen
The screen where players choose their NFT avatars and can preview their in-game inventory has been re-designed, too.

Added buttons with links to marketplaces
Added UI for editing account & NFT names
Gameplay screen
The main screen where the game happens has been given an overhaul:
Revised UX - moved chat screen to the left for better UX
UI of inventory redesigned
Inventory moved to bottom center location
Branded elements to match the visual style of the game better
Questing progress
For this season, questing progress and cooldowns have been added.
Added questing progress on the top of the screen - almost all quests are global and require multiple players to complete their part - complete their own quest. In this example, 10 players need to complete the Mayor quest to get the lake unlocked.
Showing resources gather cooldown - in this example - wood gathering.
Leaderboard
We designed a brand new questing leaderboard to show the seasonal winners. We added:
Displaying winners of the season (the player that have fulfilled the most quests this season):
Top 10 would be always displayed
Your rank
You can see the 5 players on both sides of you, if you are not in the top 10 (i.e. if you are no.115, in addition to the top 10, you can see no. 110 to 115, and 115 to 120).
At the top we have the seasonal prizes listed as well.
Lootbox
This is already LIVE in the game, shortly after we designed our special interface for when a Lootbox gets discovered.
This one is better shown than told so watch out for our next blog post to show you how a player reacts to seeing this screen. I promise you, you won’t be disappointed!
Fishing Tournament
And another leaderboard was designed.
This time, this special panel is to show the scores for the Fishing Tournaments.
The Fishing Tournaments in game are getting released next week, and we can’t wait to show you via one of the many Twitch streams how we fish and compete together!
